Artistic Concept
„When I paint, only the present moment counts. The moment is everything. No past. No future. Freedom“.
In my works, I compose different life situations of the individual with reduced lines and primary colours. The favorite painting reason for my works is the canvas. As a painting agent, I mainly process acrylic paints and ink. Just float away from it and feel the lightness of beeing, - is the motto. My pictorial idea is nourished by my imagination, by pictures from nature, by everyday and wonderful things of my life. Emotions decisively influence my creative potential as a painter.
My topic is „The ease of being“. I create my work, which I call „Swinging Lines“, in July 2018 in Minnesota, during a study abroad subsidised by he city of Salzburg.
They were influenced by the Pow Wow of the Siox and Cheyenne! Also through piano music, Theremin sounds and the vastness and beauty of the Midwest of the United States. But I also incorporate various philosophers of Greek and Roman antiquity, such as the God of Arts, Apollo/Apollon into topics and concepts. So I always devote my thoughts to the concept of „eternal return“. This thought holds a secret for me and at the same time becomes a myth.
I try to process this myth through positive vibrations in my works of art. For this I use the primary colours, with whose luminosity this should be expressed. Also the examination oft he topics: condemnation and privilege, happiness and unhappiness are opposites that change our state of being and flow into my art and which should reflect the liveliness and lightness of composition and colour.
